Joanne came to Star Builders to give her a 40-year-old kitchen a facelift. While she loved the “country-style” of oak kitchen cabinets, she didn’t necessarily like the way “her” existing oak cabinets looked. After our SB design team had a consultation with her it was soon obvious, we needed a drawing to change things up a little. Working with Joanne was wonderful because she was open to design suggestions while also having some very clear ideas of her own to incorporate into the remodel. The choice was made to build Custom Oak cabinets with antique hardware. A custom “leathered granite” countertop with under-mount sink and a brushed nickel faucet brings a simple, yet elegant look and feel to this Kitchen. Wide planked Engineered Oak hardwood flooring throughout provides for an overall traditional style and aesthetic. While onsite, Joanne asked if we could spruce up the adjacent dining room, so we installed traditional country beadboard wainscoting and finished off the space with Crown Molding. Cost Range $65K-80K
