Although this Master Bathroom was dark and dreary and frankly not the kind of Master Bathroom one would want to spend much time in, it had great potential to be the oasis our
clients wanted and had the vision to know was possible. This was a full bathroom remodel down to the studs. We began by installing a nice big window above the new shower to allow for more natural light but kept it up high for privacy. Our clients wanted a modern clean look that would enable them the opportunity to bring in accessories and art to personalize the space and bring in a little “wow” factor. With the help of our Star Builders design staff, our clients chose a light-colored Granite top with a mix of earth tones, designer glass mosaic tile backsplash and beautiful rich cherry cabinets fitted with stainless hardware. We also created a custom tiled shower with a bench, (2) niche’s, large format wall tile that included a border strip from floor to ceiling, clear estate glass frameless shower door and large format porcelain tile floors. By changing the overall layout, we were able to maximize the underutilized available space and create a true “Master bathroom” that encompassed all our client’s goals and needs.
